Put a face on your Agilewords account
- By Fabrice Talbot
If you had a choice between www.agilewords.com/your-company-name or your-company-name.agilewords.com, which would you prefer?
Customers have told us that having a more personalized web address, such as the sub-domain shown above, would help clients when reviewing documents.
We listened.
You can now create your own personalized web address.
How It Works
Instead of accessing your private account through www.agilewords.com, you can now access Agilewords on a custom URL that contains your company name. This type of URL is known as a sub-domain.
For instance, if your company is called Acme Software, you could have acme.agilewords.com.
…which is a lot easier to remember than www.agilewords.com/acme.html, right?

How Sub-Domains Improve Collaboration
Another advantage is that all collaborators – those who write, review, and sign-off documents – see your company name in the URL and know that they’re on the right track.
Compare this to a scenario where you’ve been asked to review a document and then get sent to a website with a strange url… you're not sure you're on the right page.
Having a personalized sub-domain reduces this anxiety. It gives reviewers more confidence in the product and helps speed up the review cycle. And, in addition to knowing instantly that the document belongs to you, using a sub-domain makes access and login to your account easier to remember
One Last Thing
Once you choose a sub-domain, it’s yours!
If you want to create another one, contact our support team and we’ll make the change right-away.
This happened last Friday. One of our US customers wanted to replace his 5–letter company name with a branded version. We changed it before close of business so he could get the documents to his client – with the sub-domain he wanted – over the weekend.

That's great Fabrice.
Giving companies to option to create their own subdomains does build trust.
