It's official now. After many talks, Google finally released GTW (Google Technical Writer) mobile service. Once installed on a mobile phone, the application translates the writers' speech into documentation.

#3 Docbook and DITA to merge into DitBook
OASIS announced today that DITA and DocBook will merge into DitBook. DitBook will rely on DDUL (Docbook Dita Unified Language) to define a common language that is backward compatible with each standard.
#2 Microsoft to embrace the open standard format in its Office Suite
Microsoft announced that, as of today, the Microsoft Office Suite will support the Open Office format natively. To enable that service, users need to install the latest security patch. Microsoft's PR official said that the company is proud to embrace the open source movement and let users choose between the Office Suite and Open Office!
